Draft status and what these terms cover

These terms cover your use of SoundUser as an AI song generation service. SoundUser lets you describe a song, paste lyrics, choose a style, and generate a finished track using Lyria 3.5.

This draft is written in plain language and should be reviewed by a qualified legal reviewer before it is published or relied on. It does not invent an operator name, mailing address, tax status, or court location.

By using the service, you would agree to follow these terms, the rules shown in the product, and related pages such as the SoundUser privacy policy. If a product screen gives a more specific instruction for a feature, that instruction applies to that feature unless the final legal terms say otherwise.

Accounts, payments, and track access

You are responsible for your account, your prompts, and any payment activity connected to your use of SoundUser. A generated track costs 10 credits.

Prices, checkout details, and any usage rules should be checked on the current pricing page, because the product page is the better place for current payment information. Do not share account access if it lets another person use paid generation under your account.

Payment errors, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and access problems should be handled through support. If a payment fails, generation may be delayed or unavailable. If payment is reversed after tracks are generated, SoundUser may limit account access while the issue is reviewed.

Generated songs and rights

Generated content means the audio, lyrics, titles, metadata, and other material created from your input through SoundUser. Your input means the lyrics, instructions, style notes, and other material you submit.

Tracks you create are yours to use in your own projects, including commercial ones, under the SoundUser Terms

You should not submit lyrics, melodies, recordings, or other material unless you have the needed rights to use them. SoundUser may create outputs that are similar to other outputs because AI systems can respond similarly to similar prompts, common chord progressions, familiar drum patterns, or genre labels.

If you need a rights answer for a planned release, sync placement, ad campaign, or client delivery, read the rights statement carefully and use the SoundUser FAQ for product answers.

Acceptable use starts with the prompt

Your prompt must not ask SoundUser to make illegal content, infringe someone else's work, impersonate a real person's voice, or copy a named artist's style. Do not paste lyrics you do not own. Do not write prompts that ask for a track "in the exact style of" a real artist or band.

A safer prompt looks like this:

120 BPM pop punk song in A major, palm-muted electric guitars, live drums, bright chorus, original lyrics about missing the last train, no artist names, no real voice imitation

That prompt is meant to produce a fast guitar track without pointing at a real performer. If it comes out too close to a known song, change the tempo, key, lyric theme, drum feel, and instrumentation. If the vocal sounds like a real singer, remove vocal references and describe range, tone, and delivery instead.

AI output limits and failed generations

AI output can contain mistakes, artifacts, odd lyrics, clipped syllables, mismatched sections, or musical choices you did not expect. SoundUser does not guarantee that every generation will match the prompt, sound unique, avoid all similarity, or be suitable for a particular project.

A failed generation may include silence, broken audio, an error message, or a result that the system does not complete. If that happens, contact support through the SoundUser contact page with the account email, prompt summary, and the approximate time of the issue. SoundUser can review available logs and apply the current support policy.

You should save copies of tracks you plan to keep. Availability can change because of maintenance, outages, security issues, or updates to the music model.

Suspension, deletion, and termination

SoundUser may suspend or terminate access if an account breaks these terms, creates legal risk, abuses payment systems, attacks the service, or tries to bypass product limits. Suspension can also happen while a serious report is reviewed.

If you delete your account, access to your account area, prompts, generated tracks, and related data may be removed according to the product's deletion process and the privacy terms for data handling. Keep your own copies before requesting deletion if you want to retain files you generated.

SoundUser may also stop offering a feature, change how a feature works, or end inactive access if the final terms and product notices allow it.

Liability, changes, and governing law

These terms should limit liability in a reasonable, generic way, subject to laws that cannot be waived. SoundUser should not be responsible for indirect losses, lost opportunities, platform decisions, release problems, or disputes caused by prompts, lyrics, or material you submit.

The final terms should explain any legal warranties that apply and any warranties that are disclaimed. Governing law is left generic here: the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established.

SoundUser may update these terms. Changes should be posted on this page or shown through the product when appropriate. For legal questions about this draft, use the contact page for SoundUser.

Frequently asked questions

01Who owns the songs I generate?

Tracks you create are yours to use in your own projects, including commercial ones, under the SoundUser Terms

Read that statement as the controlling answer for SoundUser output. Do not assume extra rights that are not written there. If you added lyrics, melodies, samples, or other material from outside SoundUser, you are responsible for having the rights needed for that input.

02What content is not allowed?

Do not use SoundUser for illegal content, harassment, threats, fraud, or material that infringes someone else's rights. Do not submit lyrics you do not own. Do not ask for a real person's voice to be imitated. Do not name real artists or bands in prompts as targets to copy.

03Can my account be suspended?

Yes. SoundUser may suspend or terminate an account if it breaks these terms, creates legal risk, abuses payments, attacks the service, tries to bypass product limits, or is connected to prohibited content. Access may also be limited while a serious complaint or technical issue is reviewed.

04What happens to my tracks if I delete my account?

Account deletion may remove access to your account area, prompts, generated tracks, and related files according to the product's deletion process and privacy rules. Save your own copies before requesting deletion if you want to keep them. Some records may be retained where required for security, payment, or legal reasons.

05How will I be told about changes?

Changes should be posted on the terms page or shown inside the product when appropriate. The final legal version should explain when changes take effect and whether continued use means acceptance. For major account or payment changes, SoundUser may use product notices or account contact details.

06How much does one generated track cost?

A track costs 10 credits and runs up to 180 seconds. Current checkout details, availability, and any product rules should be checked on the pricing page before you generate. If a payment or access problem happens, contact support with enough detail to review the issue.
